Project: Full-time, contract copywriting as part of Oracle’s in-house brand and creative team. Description: I worked as part of Oracle’s in-house creative team for a little over two years, collaborating with designers and product managers to shape targeted, intelligent, brand-consistent marketing materials for Oracle’s many different products, divisions, and events. I had the good fortune to work closely with some remarkably talented people, developing campaign ideas and then taking those ideas from conception to client presentation to finished layout and design. I also contributed news articles and reporting to Oracle’s Show Daily, a newspaper produced live and on-site at Oracle’s annual OpenWorld conference.
Deliverables: Web and print brochures, email campaigns, website copy, technical marketing writing, Oracle events reporting, copyediting and proofreading.
